Three Westbrook Fifth Graders Attend the Student Leadership Conference

Three Westbrook fifth graders, along with Mrs. Poell, were able to attend Westside’s Student Leadership Conference on Monday December 3rd. The student who attended were Muslima from Mrs. Dallman’s class, Zaria from Mrs. Winkler’s class, and Cadence from Mr. Hellman’s class.
The motto of the conference was “We are leaders and we can do hard things!”
Students also learned about the 4 Pillars of Kindness: Inclusion, Encouragement, Celebration, and Trust. They completed many team-building activities using these pillars.
